Celebrate National Ice Cream Month with Sweet Reads!

July is National Ice Cream Month! Sometimes these "national holidays" can seem silly, but President Ronald Reagan actually designated July as National Ice Cream Month in 1984. Stranger Things Season 3 drops tomorrow on Netflix and although the show flows so much like a horror novel, the show is not based on a book.  That isn’t stopping us from recommending some great similarly-themed reads!  As fans get ready to travel back in time to Hawkins, Indiana for Stranger Things Season 3, which drops on Netflix tomorrow, here are twelve books to get back into the ‘80’s monster movie groove.

Shawn is the manager of the Bill Brinton Murray Hill Branch Library and a graphic novels enthusiast. He chats with us about his personal graphic novel recommendations, as well as the process behind creating graphic novels of your own in Episode 56 of Completely Booked.
