Observations of an Explorer: Mary Atwood

n “Observations of an Explorer,” fine art photographer and published author, Mary Atwood, shares a collection of visual vignettes, both intimate and expansive, that she has captured during her explorations of various American and European historic sites. The exhibition runs in the galleries on the second and third floors of the Main Library from July 20 - September 7.

#About the Artist

Photographer Mary AtwoodMary Atwood is a long-time resident of the First Coast area whose deep appreciation of its natural beauty, rich history, and diverse culture is often reflected in her work.

Ms. Atwood’s fine art photography is included in numerous public, private and corporate collections in the both United States and France. Her photographs have been exhibited in galleries, museums and public art venues, with more than thirty solo exhibitions. To date, her works have won more than fifty awards in local, regional and national juried exhibitions.
