Jacksonville Public Library and Duval County Public Schools present the Best of Middle School Art Exhibit, opening to the public on Wednesday, April 13.
The exhibit includes a juried selection of over 135 pieces from twelve local schools. There will also be around 120 student artworks displayed digitally. Student artists represented in this exhibit received either a Work of Excellence, Work of Merit or Work of Honorable Mention certificate.
Check out this exhibit in the "Gallery at Main," located on the first floor of the Main Library just outside the entrance to the Teen Room.
A reception will be held for student artists and their families in the teen room on Saturday, April 23 at 3:30 p.m. with light refreshments (provided by Southeastern Grocers). Note: Main Library will be open late (until 8:45 p.m.) for art lovers on Wednesday, May 4 during Art Walk.
The Best of Middle School Art Exhibit runs April 13 through May 7.
