It can be hard to make new friends as adults. We all get so busy with family, work and other responsibilities. It can be hard to meet new people or strike up a conversation. The great thing about joining a Library Book Club is that you already have something in common with your fellow book lovers. Not only that, you have new books, themes, and characters to talk about every month!

# Adult Reading Challenge
If you haven't joined the Jax Stacks Reading Challenge yet... there's still plenty of time (and plenty of cool prizes up for grabs)! There are still seven months left and you only have to complete 12 of the 16 challenge categories to win! While many of the categories are designed to broaden your reading horizons and get you to try something new, others are going to match up with books you've already read this year or are planning to read anyway. Either way, you'll have fun and read some great books! To make it easy, we've printed up Jax Stacks Bookmarks to help you keep track of the categories you've crossed off. Pick one up at your local library.

# Jax Stacks Virtual Book Club
We will discuss: "A sci-fi or alternate history book set in Asia" on Tuesday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m., live on Zoom. Note: No specific book is required to be read for this book club but it is a way for you to get (and give) extra book recommendations! Come talk about the books you're reading; it might just help another reader!
