Ties and Knots exhibit, Nov. 7, 2018 - Jan. 24, 2019Textile arts have a long history of tradition and utility. In contemporary art, textiles are among the most versatile mediums. Ties and Knots: Weaving Narratives of Northeast Florida is an exploration of the dynamic relationship between tradition and modernity, as textiles expand beyond functional art and into the realm of fine art.

Fashion Design Workshop with Sew Innovative of Jacksonville

Learn all the steps and elements of fashion design in this three hour workshop. You’ll explore topics like drafting and cutting patterns, fabric textures, fabric illustration, and fashion storyboards, as you create three original designs.
