Jacksonville, Fla., Oct. 24, 2018 – Jacksonville Public Library is pleased to announce that Donnie Horner III has joined the Board of Library Trustees, effective Sept. 13, 2018. He was appointed by Mayor Lenny Curry and confirmed by the City Council.
"Donnie's experience in public service and in business made him a natural fit for the open role on the library's board of trustees," said Mayor Curry. "I look forward to seeing how his expertise helps our city engage with its vital literacy and learning resource."
Horner is a national sales representative at Beaver Street Fisheries with a focus on retail grocery partnerships. His accounts include Fortune 500 companies, small family owned businesses, and sole proprietorships.
