Tenikka's Books for Kids 2019

Tenikka's Books for Kids is a partnership with Action News Jax and Jacksonville Public Library. You can donate books March 1 - March 16, 2019.

The Jacksonville Public Library is teaming up with Action News Jax's evening anchor, Tenikka Hughes, for the second annual Tenikka's Books for Kids Book Drive. Tenikka's Books for Kids is a book drive collecting new books for our summer learning program at the library. All eligible books will be given out as prizes to children and teens who complete their summer reading goals.

You can donate books at any Jacksonville Public Library location March 1 - March 16, 2019, and during Jax Book Fest at the Main Library on Feb. 23, 2019. Tenikka herself will be at Jax Book Fest encouraging people to donate. San Marco Books and More will be on-site at the Main Library during Jax Book Fest selling bundles of books that the public can purchase to donate on the spot.

Ways to Donate:

1. Bring your new picture or young adult books to any of our 21 Jacksonville Public Library locations. Find a library location nearest you.

2. You can also drop books off at the Action News Jax studios, 96.1 WAPE, and 96.9 The Eagle Studios.

3. Visit San Marco Books and More to purchase and drop off books for donation.
