With a Little Help...
The Jacksonville Public Library gets by with a little help from our Friends... actually, we get by with a lot of help from our Friends! Established in 1956, the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library was created to encourage the support of libraries, increase awareness of public libraries in the community, and raise funds to enhance library services for the good of the public library system and the community.
Celebrating National Friends of Libraries Week
October 20-26, 2019 is the 14th annual National Friends of Libraries Week, so we wanted to give our Friends a big shout out for all they do to make a difference for us every single day. Through fundraising and awareness campaigns, they strive to make the Jacksonville Public Library the best it can be for our community.
