Job & Resource Fair Tuesday, Feb. 10, 9 a.m. – Noon, Main Library, Conference Center

Are you looking for a job? Deciding on a career? Thinking of starting your own business? It’s a new year—let us help you get a new start! The Job & Resource Fair offers an opportunity to meet with local businesses that are hiring; meet recruiters; discover career opportunities; learn about various companies; and distribute your resume. Attendees will be able to meet representatives from companies that are hiring now.

Look for opportunities in logistics, call centers, clerical, hotel and restaurant, insurance, financial services, government, trucking and transportation, and retail. Job seekers are encouraged to bring resumes and wear business or business-casual attire.

CareerSource of Northeast Florida will present two free workshops: “Getting Ready for an Interview” and “How To’s for a Successful Job Search.” The E3 Business Group, Inc. will present a free workshop, “So You Want to Be an Entrepreneur.” CareerSource also will host a workroom where computers will be available for job searches, filling out applications and printing resumes. Staff will provide free guidance and assistance to job seekers.
