The Joan Bowditch Young Writers Award Competition

Program Description:
The Jacksonville Public Library Foundation announced the Much Ado About Books Young Writers' Award Competition for 2009.

The competition is open to any middle or high school age student residing in Duval County. The competition recognizes the outstanding writing efforts of our students along with the support and inspiration they receive from their teachers.

When:
Entries can be submitted between October 6, 2008 and November 14, 2008.

Contest Begins: October 6, 2008
Entry Deadline: November 14, 2008
Notification of finalists: January 2009
Awards Ceremony: February 27, 2009
