Murray Hill Branch Library Closing for Upgrades Feb. 10 – 22 (Jan. 27, 2017)

Replacing Carpet, Upgrading Teen Computers, and Other Improvements Planned

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Jan. 27, 2017 – The Jacksonville Public Library will suspend service at the Murray Hill Branch Library from Feb. 10 through Feb. 22 in order to replace the carpet throughout the branch and make other upgrades to computers and furniture.

Murray Hill Branch Library customers are encouraged to visit the nearby Willowbranch Branch Library at 2875 Park St. to meet their library needs. Murray Hill Branch holds will be sent to Willowbranch during this period.

The book drop at the Murray Hill Branch Library will remain closed during this time; however, customers may return materials to any branch location.

The library is pleased to be able to make this upgrade to the branch, and believes that the modifications will be worth the wait.

The library plans to reopen the branch on Thursday, Feb. 23.

Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the library’s online resources at www.jaxpubliclibrary.org and to visit the nearby Willowbranch Branch Library or any of the system’s locations throughout Jacksonville.
